1. How does the simultaneous ring work?
Does your intercom call a cellphone? If so, we can help connect your intercom with your trusted contacts. When someone calls your dedicated number, all active contacts are simultaneously called. The first person to press 9 connects to the caller and stays on the line; from there you use the intercom's normal command (often pressing 9 again) to unlock the door. Others automatically stop ringing, which helps avoid sending guests to voicemail.
2. Do my contacts need the app?
No. The app is used only to configure who your dedicated number calls. Your contacts do not require the app to receive calls.
3. Will this cost my contacts money?
Receiving calls is free for most phone plans. It counts as a regular incoming call for your contacts.
4. Can I use this for my apartment intercom?
Yes! Perfect for intercoms:
  • Give your Always Home number to building management
  • When visitors buzz, all contacts can answer
  • First to press 9 can buzz them in
5. What if no one answers?
If no one presses 9 within ~25 seconds the call simply ends. We do not provide or record voicemail, nor do we send follow-up texts—callers need to try again or reach you through another method.
6. Can I disable contacts temporarily?
Yes. Toggle contacts on/off anytime without deleting them. Perfect for vacations or shift changes.
7. When is this available in my country?
We are currently only available in Canada and USA. We plan to expand to 35+ countries.
8. Will I lose my dedicated number if I reinstall?

No. Your Always Home number is tied to your authenticated login, so reinstalling the app or signing in on a new device restores it automatically.

We only release the number if your subscription lapses or you delete your account, and even then we make a best effort to reassign it if you return.

  • Support is available inside the Always Home app via Settings → Contact Support.
  • We do not provide a direct support email today; a customer web login with more support options is coming soon.
  • Response time is typically within 24 hours.
12. How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed directly through your device's app store settings.

  • Apple iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Open Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions

You can cancel anytime through these settings. The service will continue until the end of your current billing period. All refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
